What information do we actually collect?
When you create an account we collect the information needed to identify you, run the account and meet our regulatory obligations. That includes your full name, date of birth, residential address, contact email, mobile number and a copy of an accepted ID document during verification. We collect financial information when you deposit or withdraw, which is limited to the masked card number, the e-wallet email or the wallet address used. We collect activity data including the games you play, the stakes you place, the bonuses you claim and the times you log in. We collect technical data such as your device type, browser, IP address and approximate location, which we use to keep the account secure and to comply with our licensing rules.
We do not collect information we do not need. We do not buy personal data from third party data brokers, we do not append marketing profiles from outside the site and we do not use covert browser fingerprinting beyond the standard security controls that keep your session safe. The full list of data we hold on your account is downloadable from the account settings page at any time, and you can request a more detailed export through the contact route at the bottom of this page.
Why do we hold it and how long for?
We hold your information for one of a small number of clear purposes: to operate the account, to process payments, to meet anti money laundering rules, to investigate suspected fraud, to provide customer support and to comply with our gaming licence obligations. Marketing communications are sent only when you have opted in, and you can opt out from any email or SMS we send without affecting your access to the account itself.
Retention periods follow the licence rules. Identity verification documents and transaction records are held for a minimum of 7 years after the account closes, in line with the regulator's audit requirements. General account data and play history are kept while the account is active and for a period of 6 years after closure, which lets us respond to any historical query you might raise. Marketing preferences are kept as a record of consent for as long as the account exists.
Who do we share your information with?
We share data with the third parties that help us run the casino. Our payment processors receive the information needed to settle deposits and withdrawals. Our identity verification partner receives the documents you submit during the KYC process. Our cloud infrastructure providers host the encrypted data on our behalf, with access strictly limited to authorised engineers under a formal data processing agreement. Our regulator and our auditors can request data under the terms of our licence, and where the law requires it we will comply.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers, data brokers or affiliate networks. Marketing analytics on the site are run through privacy first tools that aggregate behaviour rather than identifying individuals, and you can opt out from the entire analytics layer through the cookie banner that appears on your first visit. The cookie banner choices stick across sessions and can be changed at any time from the link in the footer.
What rights do you keep over your data?
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, the right to correct anything inaccurate, the right to ask us to delete data that is no longer needed for a legal or regulatory reason, the right to restrict how we process your data while a dispute is being resolved, the right to receive your data in a portable format and the right to object to certain types of processing. These rights are available to you whether you are still an active player or whether you closed your account years ago.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@slotsofvegas.live with enough information for us to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days as standard. There is no fee. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the privacy regulator in your country, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for Australian residents. The contact details for each regulator are linked in the footer of this page.
How is the data protected?
The site runs over TLS 1.3 with HSTS enabled, which means every byte of data between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit. Stored data is encrypted at rest using AES 256 with managed keys that rotate on a regular schedule. Access to production systems is gated through hardware tokens for our engineers, with two factor authentication mandatory on every internal account. We run external penetration tests at least annually and we publish a summary of the findings to the regulator under the terms of our licence.
On your side, the most important protection is your account password. We recommend a unique password of at least 12 characters and two factor authentication enabled on your account, which you can switch on in the security settings. We will never ask you for your password by email, by phone or in chat. Any message claiming to be from us that asks for your password is a phishing attempt and should be reported to security@slotsofvegas.live so we can take it down.
Children and account ownership
Slots of Vegas is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and any account discovered to belong to a minor is closed immediately with deposits refunded. If you are a parent or guardian who believes a child has accessed the site or created an account, contact us at privacy@slotsofvegas.live and we will close the account, refund unauthorised deposits and walk through device level controls to prevent it happening again.
Your account is personal to you and may not be shared, sold or transferred. Sharing login details with a partner, a friend or a family member breaches the terms of service and can lead to the account being closed with any pending winnings frozen pending an investigation. If your circumstances change, the simplest path is to close the existing account and have the new individual open one of their own, which keeps the data trail clean and the regulator happy.
Updates to this policy and how to contact us
We review this policy at least annually and when our processing practices change in a way that materially affects you. The latest version always lives at this URL and the date of last update is shown at the bottom of the page. Where a change is significant we will email registered account holders and require you to acknowledge the new version on next login, which gives you a clear chance to review the change before continuing to use the site.
For any privacy related question, our preferred contact is privacy@slotsofvegas.live. For general support queries, the live chat link in the footer is the fastest route. For formal complaints that have not been resolved through the standard channels, you can write to our data protection officer at the registered office listed in the footer of this page. We take privacy seriously and we treat every query as an opportunity to do the job a little better the next time.
